Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy covers order processing times, international delivery timelines, customs responsibilities, and carrier information for all orders placed on dropthatbag.com. All orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid).

1. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 3–5 business days of payment confirmation. For retail orders (1–49 units), products are sourced on-demand from our manufacturing partner in China. For OEM orders (50+ units), production timelines are communicated separately at order confirmation.

2. Shipping Times

2.1 Retail orders (1–49 units)

  • Standard shipping: 12–20 business days from order confirmation
  • Express shipping: 7–10 business days (where available, additional cost)

Shipping times are estimates and may vary depending on destination country, customs processing, and carrier availability. DTB is not liable for delays caused by customs authorities or force majeure events.

2.2 OEM orders (50+ units)

OEM orders ship after production completion, typically 20–45 business days from order confirmation. Shipping time from China to destination adds 7–15 business days depending on the chosen shipping method.

3. Shipping Carriers

DTB ships via international carriers including DHL, FedEx, UPS, and Yanwen depending on destination and order size. A tracking number is provided upon shipment confirmation.

4. Shipping Terms — DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid)

All international orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid). This means:

  • The customer is responsible for all import duties, customs fees, and local taxes applicable in the destination country
  • DTB does not pre-pay customs duties on behalf of the customer
  • Failure to pay customs duties may result in the package being held or returned. DTB is not responsible for costs arising from refusal or non-payment of customs duties

5. EU Importation

For orders delivered within the European Union, DTB Holdings SASU acts as the importer of record. Products entering the EU are subject to VAT and customs duties as applicable under EU regulations. Since July 1, 2021, all goods imported into the EU are subject to VAT regardless of value. For orders below €150, import VAT is collected at checkout via IOSS or upon delivery. For orders above €150, standard customs duties and VAT apply at the border.

6. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, order weight, and selected shipping method. Shipping costs are non-refundable except in the case of defective products (see Refund Policy).

7. Lost or Undelivered Packages

If your package is marked as delivered but not received, contact us within 5 business days at hello@dropthatbag.com or via WhatsApp Business at +33 7 46 26 84 66. DTB will initiate an investigation with the carrier. If the package is confirmed lost by the carrier, DTB will offer a replacement shipment or full refund at the customer's choice.

8. Address Accuracy

The customer is responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address at the time of order. DTB is not liable for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Address corrections after order placement may not be possible once the order is in transit.
