This Refund Policy outlines your rights and our obligations regarding returns, refunds, and withdrawals for orders placed on dropthatbag.com. EU consumers benefit from a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal.
1. EU Right of Withdrawal (14-Day)
If you are an individual consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing any reason, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
1.1 How to exercise your right of withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, notify us within 14 days of receipt by email at hello@dropthatbag.com or via WhatsApp Business at +33 7 46 26 84 66, stating your order number and your intention to withdraw. You must return the product(s) within 14 days of notifying us.
1.2 Conditions for return
- Products must be returned in their original condition, unused, and in original packaging
- Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the product is defective
- DTB will process the refund within 14 days of receiving the returned product
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
1.3 Exclusions from right of withdrawal
- OEM / customized products (personalized with logo or custom design)
- Products that have been used, damaged, or are not in their original condition
- Professional buyers purchasing for commercial or resale purposes
2. Defective or Damaged Products
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or significantly different from its description, contact us within 7 days of receipt at hello@dropthatbag.com or via WhatsApp Business at +33 7 46 26 84 66, with photographic evidence. DTB will offer, at its discretion:
- Full replacement of the defective product at no additional cost
- Full refund including original shipping costs
DTB covers return shipping costs for defective or damaged products.
3. Non-EU Customers
Customers located outside the European Union are not entitled to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under EU law. However, DTB offers a goodwill return policy of 7 days from receipt for unused products in original condition, subject to the customer bearing return shipping costs. Refunds for non-EU customers will be issued within 14 business days of receipt of the returned product.
4. OEM Orders
OEM orders (50+ units, customized) are non-refundable except in the case of manufacturing defects affecting more than 3% of the delivered units. In such cases, DTB will arrange replacement of defective units at no cost. The 50% deposit paid at order placement is non-refundable in all circumstances once production has commenced.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 14 days of DTB receiving the returned product or approving the refund request. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. DTB is not responsible for delays caused by the customer's payment provider.
